Together with Klaytn, Iskra and CESS, ABGA is launching its second Hackathon on BeWater from July 17th to September 11th. Winning teams will receive an audit discount from SlowMist. Google Cloud, as the strategic partner, will also provide comprehensive support for the Hackathon.
The Blockchain Gaming Hackathon aims to recognize teams with high potential and support the further development of the Web3 gaming industry. At this Hackathon, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity, skills, and vision by developing groundbreaking games that leverage the blockchain technology and the principles of Web3. Teams with exceptional potential will be rewarded with cash prize, Google Cloud credits, funding, and partnerships to further their projects and contribute to the evolution of Web3 gaming.
We strongly believe that Web3 Gaming is a track that can inject fresh energy and vitality into the crypto world, sparking the next wave of cyclical prosperity. Increasingly, traditional game developers and companies are turning their attention towards deploying Web3 Gaming, and the introduction of innovative game modes is attracting a growing number of traditional players. The resurgence of fully on-chain games this year underscores the immense potential of Web3 gaming, which we are determined to fully explore and harness.

Event Details
Participants must come from Web3 Gaming, but Metaverse and NFT-related games are also acceptable.
Participants must be at the early stage, fundraising not close， and have not launched tokens.
Participants must submit a practical project and prepare a complete Deck with a framework (including project introduction, economic model, team member introduction and plans, etc.) to get the entry. It will be value-adding if the project can also provide a sound demo.
Winning teams must be deployed on Klaytn, launched on Iskra and build with the CESS decentralize storage services (DeOSS) or deployed on CESS network to receive the entire prize.
Judging Criteria
- Innovation and Creativity: Evaluate how the project showcases originality, creativity, and innovative ideas in integrating Web3 and blockchain technology into the gaming experience.
- User Experience (UX): Consider the gaming application's user-friendliness and overall experience. Evaluate how well the integration of Web3 enhances the user experience and engages players.
- Decentralization and Blockchain Integration: Examine how effectively the project leverages blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized elements to enhance gameplay, ownership, and security.
- Gameplay Mechanics: Evaluate the gameplay mechanics, mechanics' balance, and overall fun factor of the gaming experience. Look for unique and engaging aspects that differentiate the game from traditional gaming offerings.
- Token Economy and Incentive Structure: Analyze the design of the in-game token economy, rewards mechanism, and how it aligns with the game's overall objectives and user engagement.
- Technical Implementation: Assess the technical prowess of the project, including the quality of code, efficiency, scalability, and overall robustness of the solution (for technical judges only).
