The DeAI Hackathon 2024, launched by EMC (Edge Matrix Computing), is a worldwide online Hackathon focused on fostering innovation and integration of AI applications with web3 technology.

Offering up to $1 million in prizes and financial support, the hackathon aims to advance the development and implementation of AI applications and products within the EMC ecosystem. For those looking to merge AI technology with web3, the DeAI Hackathon serves as an ideal platform and partner.

The hackathon will primarily cover tracks as Text-based, Visual apps, and Generative AI.

Submission

When submitting entries, participants should provide the following information:

· Name and contact information of the main team leader

· List of team members and their backgrounds/experiences Team's geographical location

· Product logo, name, and a brief description

· GitHub or GitLab link

· Teams can keep their code repositories private but are welcome to share access with @EMCProtocol-dev during the judging period for review by hackathon organizers and judges.

· Demo Link: Submit slides or video presentations

· Product link and testing instructions

· Links to the project's social media accounts

Judging Criteria

  1. Innovation 20%

0 - Project shows 0 creativity, e.g., it is an exact copy of something else.

5 - Project shows some innovation and creativity that distinguishes itself in an interesting way for users.

10 - Project shows extreme creativity, few, if any, other projects in the market are doing anything similar.

  1. Technical Proficiency 20%

0 - Incomplete functionality with low technical proficiency and fine-tuning, lacking strong technical barriers.

5 - Partial functionality with moderate technical proficiency and fine-tuning, but lacking strong technical barriers.

10 - Complete functionality with high technical complexity and fine-tuning, establishing strong technical barriers.
