BeWater AI Crypto Hackathon is an online hackathon at the intersection of AI and crypto, hosted by BeWater and co-hosted by ABCDE, OKX Ventures, SevenX Ventures and BNB Chain.
Leading Innovation Platform: BeWater AI Crypto Hackathon not only serves as a frontier platform for exploring the convergence of AI and crypto but also focuses on the forefront of technology issues. With an exceptional lineup of mentors and guests, including luminaries like Illia Polosukhin from NEAR, BMAN from ABCDE, Sam from Arweave, Sreeni Saneel from Ritual, Garrison from io.net, Haseeb from Dragonfly, Kartin from ORA, Tyler from Sahara AI, Jonnes from Galadriel and more, this event brings together some of the most brilliant minds in AI and crypto. These experts will provide invaluable insights and guidance to hackers, empowering them to push the boundaries of what’s possible at the intersection of AI and crypto.
Global Impact and Diversity: As a global virtual event, BeWater AI Crypto Hackathon gathers entrepreneurs, hackers, and developers from around the world, representing the top talents from areas like San Francisco, New York, London, Singapore, Beijing, and more. Through a combination of online and offline workshops, participants have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with the international community. Everyone engages in brainstorming sessions, and with guidance from top experts in the AI and crypto fields, they benefit from diverse perspectives and mentorship. Participants can rapidly enhance their skills in infrastructure, applications, and various AI and crypto domains.
Resource Support: BeWater AI Crypto Hackathon provides participants with abundant resources and support, including technical guidance, mentorship, and marketing promotion. Total prize pool of up to $60,000. Exhibits will provide top tier H100/A100/Ada6000/RTX 4090 to support quality projects along side with Cysic and AWS.
Grand Demo Day: Winning projects at the BeWater AI Crypto Hackathon could secure millions in funding from our venture partners, which include ABCDE, OKX Ventures, SevenX Ventures, and more, empowering the development and implementation of projects. We will host a Demo Day for the shortlisted projects at the end of May, connecting projects with over 70 investment institutions for funding opportunities. Furthermore, BeWater venture studio will offer follow-up incubation services to support the continued growth of these projects.
BeWater Hackathon Track Records: Partnered with zkSync and Taiko, from July to September 2023, ABCDE and BeWater successfully hosted the ZK Hackathon and HackCamp events, attracting over 700 hackers from 8 countries. There were a total of 54 projects participating, with 6 teams ultimately receiving awards, and a prize pool totaling up to $70,000 USD.

3.Who can apply
BeWater AI Crypto Hackathon is open to projects that align with the thematic requirements of AI and Crypto, showcasing innovation and practicality in their solutions. We welcome both new and existing projects, with the recommendation that the project has been built within the past year.
4.What to submit
We encourage you to register on this hackathon page and submit your project details, including a brief project overview (within 200 words), deck, GitHub link, participation in other hackathons, and history of awards/grants/funding. Furthermore, on the BeWater hackathon registration page, once the team leader creates a team, please make sure to invite team members to join. We require each team member to complete their personal profile on BeWater, including their role in the team, development language skills, LinkedIn link and contact information, to provide a more in-depth understanding of your project.
1.Technical Proficiency
Assesses participants' proficiency in technical aspects, especially in the chosen track's relevant technical areas.
2.Innovation
Evaluates whether participants' projects demonstrate innovation and uniqueness. This involves novel approaches to solving problems or application scenarios, as well as their potential impact on the AI and cryptocurrency domains.
3.Overall Impression
Considers the overall impression and quality of the projects. Judges will take into account factors such as technical proficiency, innovation, scalability, commercial viability, and user experience to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the overall project.
4.Scalability
Assesses whether participants' project designs are scalable, meaning they can adapt flexibly to different scales and complexities of application scenarios, and can expand adaptively with growing demands.
5.Commercial Viability
Evaluates the commercial feasibility and potential profitability of participants' projects. This includes whether the projects address problems with commercial or social value and whether they can generate revenue or profits.
6.User Experience
Evaluates the performance of participants' projects in terms of user experience. This includes aspects such as interface design, interaction flow, response speed, and how well the projects meet user needs and expectations.
