Meme

This track celebrates the creative power of memes in driving community engagement and culture within Web3. Participants are encouraged to design meme-centric dApps or platforms that enable users to create, trade, and share viral content. The focus is on combining humor, creativity, and blockchain technology to amplify the cultural impact of memes, fostering stronger community bonds and innovative monetization models on DuckChain.

DeFi

Focus on creating decentralized finance (DeFi) applications built on DuckChain, particularly those that leverage stablecoins for financial products like lending, staking, or yield farming. This track encourages projects that make DeFi more accessible, secure, and efficient for both retail and institutional users.

Telegram-Powered dApps

Develop dApps and infrastructure tools designed for the Telegram ecosystem, including Telegram-based mini apps, bots, or gaming experiences. As Telegram continues to grow as a hub for Web3 communities, this track will focus on making it easier for users to engage with blockchain through the Telegram interface.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to create new dApps or improve existing blockchain infrastructure. This track explores applications where AI can enhance DeFi, NFT platforms, Meme culture, and even decentralized science (DeSci).

Infrastructure

Innovate with new forms of infrastructure that drive real-world impact in sectors like decentralized science (DeSci), decentralized social networks (DeSoc), and decentralized bioinformatics (DeBio). This track emphasizes solutions that support broader societal impact through the power of blockchain and DuckChain’s features.

Judging Criteria

Submissions will be evaluated based on the following dimensions:

  • Design and Usability: Is the interface intuitive? Does the user experience feel smooth and easy to understand?
  • DuckChain Nativeness: Does the project creatively integrate DuckChain’s "duck" brand identity?
  • Innovation: Does the project exhibit unique creativity or propose new ways?
  • Community Impact and Engagement: Does the project have community support? Have participants collected user feedback during development and integrated it into their work?

The following elements will help participants maximize their scores:

Innovation & Creativity (25%)

  • Does the project demonstrate unique creativity and address the challenge of transitioning Web2 users to Web3?
  • Does the project have breakthrough designs or features that can generate significant market impact and attention?
  • Does the project create a striking first impression that captivates both judges and users? (Including the "WOW" Factor)

Technical Feasibility & User Experience (35%)

  • Project Completion (15%): Does the project demonstrate a complete prototype, demo, or deployed product? Are the features functional and easy to use?
  • Technical Difficulty & Feasibility (10%): Does the project solve a technically challenging problem, showcasing innovation or breakthroughs in technology?
  • User Experience (10%): Is the product intuitive and user-friendly? Does it engage users and encourage retention?

DuckChain Ecosystem Fit (20%)

  • Duck Element (5%): Does the project incorporate DuckChain's unique branding elements, such as name, design, or style?
  • Telegram Mini App (5%): Does the project integrate effectively with the Telegram Mini App, leveraging the ecosystem and increasing compatibility with DuckChain?
  • DuckStar Compatibility (10%): Can the project integrate with DuckStar as a payment method, enhancing its functionality and user experience?

Sustainability & Business Model (15%)

  • Project Plan & Roadmap (8%): Does the project have a clear development roadmap, outlining plans for the next few months or years?
  • Business Model (7%): Does the project have a sustainable business model that can generate long-term revenue or user growth?

Community Engagement & Open Source Contributions (15%)

  • Open Source Code & Documentation (10%): Does the project provide complete open-source code with a reasonable commit history? Is there clear documentation or tutorials to help users understand and use the project?
  • Community Support & Feedback (5%): Does the project showcase community engagement, user feedback, or endorsements that demonstrate its potential market impact?
